Orpheus Brewing is one of the first craft breweries in Georgia to can its beer, so you’ll be able to sample these small-batch ales in the comfort of your own home. In fact, you can expect to see these cans in your local grocery store in the early part of November.

Bold Monk Brewing Company

Located in West Midtown, Bold Monk is a brewpub that is both a restaurant and a beer garden. The venue features an eclectic style that pays homage to the European brews that inspired its name.

The restaurant offers seating for 150 guests. It also has a beer garden with bench-style seating. The facility is complete with a cask room and art gallery. There is also a retail bookstore. The venue features vintage-inspired design. There are Greco-Roman pillars that are strung with twinkling lights. The interior design is a mix of exposed wooden beams and vintage furniture.

Burnt Hickory Brewing Co.

Located in a quaint industrial park in the suburbs of Georgia’s northernmost metropolis of Atlanta, Burnt Hickory Brewing is the eighth craft brewery in the state. They have a hefty beer list and a fanatical fan base to boot. Their flagship beer, the Charred Walls of the Damned, is a barleywine stout aged in brandy and whiskey barrels.

In addition to their core beers, Burnt Hickory Brewing also offers a number of wacky brews. They’ve got an IPA, a pale ale, a lager, a stout, and an amber ale, to name a few. A recent spate of brewery renovations has led to the addition of a full-sized brewhouse and two new labels.

Alpharetta Brewing Company

Whether you live in the city, the suburbs, or somewhere in between, Alpharetta has you covered when it comes to breweries. The city’s beer scene has grown significantly over the past few years, a fact that has led to many new and exciting breweries popping up across the city. You’ll find breweries that focus on IPAs, award-winning beers, and food pairings. You can also find some that offer tours, tastings, and more.

The first brewery to open in Alpharetta was the Jekyll Brewing Company. Its name pays homage to Georgia’s first brewery, which opened on Jekyll Island in 1738. Now in ruins, the old brewery is an important historical site for the state. Among its offerings, you’ll find an IPA, a German-style lager, and a Belgian-style golden ale.

Underwood Hills Brewpub

Located in the burgeoning brewery district in Underwood Hills, Round Trip Brewing Company is a two-story, 26,000 square foot space. Owner Elliott Hall said he is excited to join the Westside breweries. The brewery will be community focused and will brew quality beer on site. It will be open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 4 to 9 p.m., Fridays from 3 to 10 p.m., and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Round Trip will join Fire Maker Brewing Company in the area. Fire Maker’s brewing operation is housed in a 9,000 square foot warehouse space in the Westside. Fire Maker is a start-up craft brewery that will serve local beer and host pop-ups and food trucks.

Steady Hand Brewing Co.

Sullivan Brothers Brewery has made a splash in the local beer scene since its inception last year. The brewery has a diverse portfolio of flavorful beers and a burgeoning brewery scene in Atlanta. The company is led by a young, but savvy duo, brothers Brian and Kevin Sullivan. Both have backgrounds in the culinary and business industries, respectively.

The company has been teasing its grand opening, announcing plans to open a brewery in Atlanta this spring. The grand opening will take place on Saturday, March 9 and will feature a variety of beer-related goodies. Tickets are $25, which includes a souvenir glass, four beer tokens, and the chance to win one of two raffles. The event will also feature food trucks and live music

Round Trip Brewing

Located in the Westside Brewery District, Round Trip Brewing Company is opening a new 26,000 square foot brewhouse and brewery in Atlanta. The brewery will occupy approximately 26,000 square feet of space and will include a brewhouse, taproom and adaptable outdoor area. It will also include a private event room and a packaging hall.

The brewery will brew up to 12 beers on tap, with seven barrel tanks for the taproom and 30-barrel fermenters for double batches. It will also be outfitted with a custom three-vessel, 15-barrel system from Wisconsin-based ProBrew.
